Staying at Serristori Palace was quite an experience for my first visit to Florence. The location is functional-right next to the river Arno with easy access to the iconic sights. Check-in was straightforward, and the staff provided helpful information about the area, especially the good nearby restaurants. Our apartment was clean and packed essential amenities like air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, though it felt a bit snug for four people. The quality linens offered some comfort, and I appreciated the well-equipped kitchenette with cookware and coffee facilities, making 'in-house' dining a temptation. While the cost may lean on the higher side, the view from our room and the proximity to attractions deliver real value. An efficient grocery shopping service is also a plus for those wanting to self-cater. Serristori captures a useful blend of value and comfort for a stay in the heart of Florence.
