Staying at Serristori Palace was quite an experience for my first visit to Florence. The location is functional—right next to the river Arno with easy access to the iconic sights. Check-in was straightforward, and the staff provided helpful information about the area, especially the good nearby restaurants. Our apartment was clean and packed essential amenities like air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, though it felt a bit snug for four people. The quality linens offered some comfort, and I appreciated the well-equipped kitchenette with cookware and coffee facilities, making 'in-house' dining a temptation. While the cost may lean on the higher side, the view from our room and the proximity to attractions deliver real value. An efficient grocery shopping service is also a plus for those wanting to self-cater. Serristori captures a useful blend of value and comfort for a stay in the heart of Florence.
